Project Teach
“Project Teach” is an awareness program that was set up by the directors of jachunt.com in order to address the high rate of drop outs from schools, which unfortunately is becoming a big threat to the future of the United States of America. The U.S. Department of Education is doing a great job to curb this menace, but there is still much to be done. Project Teach is our way of giving back to the society and contributing to the betterment of our nation.

VISION: TEACH, GUIDE AND CHALLENGE (T.G.C.)

We TEACH youths the importance of Education, we GUIDE them on the steps to take to achieve it, we CHALLENGE/DARE them to accomplish their set goals and dreams.

MISSION STATEMENT: To create awareness programs/reach out campaigns for education among the youths.
WHY THE PROJECT? Abraham Lincoln said “if we could first know where we are and whither we are tending we could better judge what to do and how to do it” we should ask the question, WHERE ARE WE?

In Education: about 1/3 of high school students do not graduate, the number of Hispanics and African Americans constitutes a greater portion of this fraction when compared to that of the Caucasians. According to the website ‘www.americaspromise.org’ , about 1.2 million students( 7,000 kids a day) drop out from school each year. This website ‘www.all4ed.org’ explains that if we do not address this issue, high school drop outs from the class of 2006-07 would cost the U.S. an estimate of $329 billion in lost wages, taxes and productivity over their lifetime.

In Health, we aren’t doing better; many Americans have unhealthy life styles. In Values, parents have forgotten the responsibility of training their kids appropriately.
